Terms and Conditions – TAWE COLLECTION

Welcome to TAWE COLLECTION. These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, stays, services, and activities offered by the camp. By confirming a reservation, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.


1. Reservations & Booking Confirmation

  • All reservations are subject to availability.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
  • TAWE COLLECTION reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings at its discretion in exceptional circumstances.
  • Guests must provide accurate personal and travel information during booking.

2. Payments

  • A deposit may be required to secure a reservation.
  • Full payment must be completed before arrival unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Payments may be made through approved payment methods communicated by TAWE COLLECTION.
  • Any bank transfer or transaction charges are the responsibility of the guest.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Guest Cancellations

  • Cancellations made well in advance may qualify for a partial refund based on the cancellation period.
  • Late cancellations, no-shows, or early departures may result in partial or full forfeiture of payments.
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.

Camp Cancellations

TAWE COLLECTION reserves the right to cancel bookings due to:

  • Severe weather conditions
  • Government restrictions
  • Safety concerns
  • Force majeure events
  • Operational emergencies

In such cases, guests may receive alternative dates or applicable refunds.


4. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Standard check-in time: From 2:00 PM
  • Standard check-out time: Before 10:00 AM
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.

Guests may be required to present valid identification or passport documentation upon arrival.


5. Guest Conduct

To maintain a peaceful and safe safari environment:

  • Guests must respect camp staff, wildlife, other guests, and camp property.
  • Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, illegal activities, or dangerous conduct are prohibited.
  • The camp reserves the right to remove guests without refund if behavior threatens safety or operations.

6. Wildlife & Safety

TAWE COLLECTION operates within a wildlife area in the Serengeti National Park where wild animals roam freely. Guests acknowledge that safari activities involve inherent risks.

Guests agree to:

  • Follow all safety instructions from guides and camp staff.
  • Avoid walking unescorted at night unless accompanied by authorized staff.
  • Maintain safe distances from wildlife.
  • Never feed or provoke animals.

TAWE COLLECTION shall not be held liable for injuries, loss, or damages arising from failure to follow safety guidelines.


7. Health & Medical Responsibility

  • Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for travel and safari activities.
  • Any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements should be communicated in advance.
  • TAWE COLLECTION may assist in arranging emergency medical support where possible, but all related costs remain the guest’s responsibility.

8. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and should cover:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Evacuation
  • Trip cancellation
  • Loss or theft of belongings
  • Safari-related activities

9. Liability

TAWE COLLECTION shall not be liable for:

  • Delays, cancellations, or disruptions beyond reasonable control
  • Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings
  • Injuries sustained during safari activities, transfers, or excursions
  • Events caused by weather, wildlife, natural disasters, or third-party service providers

Guests participate in activities at their own risk.


10. Camp Property & Damages

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to tents, furnishings, equipment, or camp property due to negligence or misconduct. Costs for repairs or replacements may be charged accordingly.


11. Photography & Marketing

TAWE COLLECTION may occasionally capture photographs or videos within camp areas for promotional purposes. Guests who prefer not to appear in marketing materials should inform management in writing before or during their stay.


12. Environmental Responsibility

As a luxury tented camp operating in a protected ecosystem, TAWE COLLECTION promotes sustainable tourism practices.

Guests are encouraged to:

  • Reduce waste
  • Respect wildlife habitats
  • Conserve water and energy
  • Avoid littering within the camp or national park

Luxury safari camps often operate in sensitive conservation areas with eco-conscious practices and limited infrastructure.


13. Children Policy

  • Children are welcome under parental or guardian supervision.
  • Parents are fully responsible for the safety and behavior of minors at all times.
  • Certain safari activities may have age restrictions for safety reasons.

14. Force Majeure

TAWE COLLECTION shall not be responsible for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Pandemics
  • Government actions
  • Political unrest
  • Extreme weather
  • Wildlife incidents
  • Transportation disruptions

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Tanzania. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
